Summertime Fun at FPH

On a sweltering summer day in the middle of the afternoon, Faith Presbyterian Hospice (FPH) teammates shuffled across the parking lot from the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center to enjoy a few hours of fun in (and out of) the sun at the FPH All Staff Summer Party.

The event boasted a carnival-like atmosphere complete with a food truck serving an array of delectable lunchtime fare, catered by the Presbyterian Village North (PVN) culinary team from the Culinary Cruiser food trailer. Indoor games, including giant tic-tac-toe, cornhole and more were available for teammates to enjoy a competitive game while sipping on a refreshing glass of lemonade.

The outdoor dunking booth was the most popular activity of the afternoon as teammates took great pleasure in dunking FPH and Forefront Living leadership into the ice cold water. The event was capped off with a surprise visit from an old-fashioned ice cream truck that rolled up just in time to indulge teammates with an assortment of frozen delights.

Team building and rejuvenation is a top priority for Danette Muzic, FPH Executive Director, and her team this year. Click here to read about Project Renewal, another FPH teammate-centered initiative.
