FPH Provides Holiday Support

The North Texas Business Aviation Association (NTBAA) collected more than 150 toys benefitting the Faith Presbyterian Hospice (FPH) Child and Family Bereavement Program. These hand-picked gifts were collected during the company’s Holiday Meet and Greet on December 8, with more than 100 generous people donating to the cause. The toys will be distributed to many deserving Faith Kids and their families during the holiday season. Each child participating in the Faith Kids program has recently experienced the loss of an immediate family member. This is the second year FPH has been a recipient of the NTBAA Toy Drive. This year, Faith Presbyterian Hospice (FPH) sponsored the 7th Annual Faith and Grief Memorial Arch, displayed at Klyde Warren Park from November 27-December 18. The Arch was designed to serve as a unique community memorial, especially during the holiday season, to pay tribute to lost loved ones. Grieving individuals were encouraged to remember their late loved ones by writing their name on a ribbon and tying it to the Arch as a symbol of remembrance. This special memorial aligns with the FPH mission by acknowledging the social, mental and spiritual challenges faced by bereaved individuals and families and the importance of remembering lost loved ones.
