FPH Celebrates Music Therapy Week: Healing and Comfort Through the Power of Music

We’re nearly halfway through the month of April and want to take a moment to celebrate Music Therapy Week (April 10-15) and the incredible benefits it brings to patients and families at Faith Presbyterian Hospice (FPH). With two highly skilled music therapists on staff, Alyssa Price and Jennefer Dixon, FPH goes above and beyond to provide expert therapeutic services that truly make a difference in the lives of those in hospice care.

Music therapy has been shown to alleviate physical symptoms, improve mood and create special moments of connection for patients and families facing end-of-life challenges. At FPH, music therapy is just one part of the “Faith Difference” that sets us apart from other hospice providers. The dedication and expertise of both therapists, along with their specialized training and professional licensing, ensure that patients receive top-notch care that addresses their unique needs.

In honor of Music Therapy Month, the FPH music therapists have recorded a few songs to showcase the power of music in healing and comfort. We invite you to listen and experience the beauty of music therapy for yourself. Thank you to Alyssa Price, Jennefer Dixon and the entire FPH team for their commitment to providing holistic and compassionate care to all those they serve.
