The Forefront Living Foundation received a $50,000 match grant from the Rees-Jones Foundation

The Forefront Living Foundation was approved for a $50,000 match grant from the Rees-Jones Foundation that will be used to add an additional child-life therapist to the Faith Presbyterian Hospice team.

The Rees-Jones Foundation is a Dallas, faith-based organization with a mission to serve others by sharing resources in ways that provide opportunities for the disadvantaged, relief for the suffering, and encouragement in the growth and well-being of children and families.

“The Rees-Jones Foundation has partnered with Forefront Living in the past with other grants and we are very appreciative of their generosity,” said Dr. John Gremmels, Forefront Living Foundation advisor.

Once the Forefront Living Foundation raises an initial $50,000 the Rees-Jones Foundation’s grant will match that amount for a total of $100,000.

The funds will also be used to help reach the Foundation’s goal of serving an additional 500 children in the child and family bereavement program.

The grant process was lengthy including documents detailing plans for long term impact, program partnership and the plan to support the program once the grant funds have been exhausted.
