When the personal finances of a resident or patient at one of our family of communities are exhausted, the Forefront Living Foundation steps in to ensure that our outstanding, compassionate care continues on uninterrupted. This is only possible thanks to our Faith Caring Funds for Benevolent Care and the faithful, generous support of our growing community of donors.  

We believe in the unique blessings hospice and palliative care can bring to patients and their loved ones. Our goal is to provide comfort, dignity and peace, while helping those we serve live well and as fully as possible, because even in life’s difficult times, every moment matters.  

A unique alternative to traditional in-home hospice care, The Pickens Center is a residential and inpatient hospice center that is the first of its kind in the Dallas area. Features include private care suites featuring views of our beautiful gardens and lake and accommodations designed specifically for families, as well as innovative educational programs and partnerships with universities, hospitals and healthcare systems to help transform end-of-life care.  

66 tree-lined acres located in the middle of the Dallas metro area serve as an oasis for members of our community. Here, you’ll find a close-knit neighborhood atmosphere; expansive dining, wellness and spiritual opportunities; and active, engaged community members who are thriving. Our full continuum of care includes spacious independent living apartments and cottages, assisted living services, certified Alzheimer’s and dementia care, skilled nursing care, specialized rehabilitation and more.
