Massage Therapists Gather at FPH to Train in End-of-Life Care Post date June 17, 2025 Twelve massage therapists from around the country recently gathered at Forefront Living’s Marnie and Kern Wildenthal Education Center to complete a three-day course titled “Palliative Massage for People at the End of Life.” By the end of the course, each therapist earned 20 continuing education hours, deepening their skills in providing compassionate care to those nearing life’s final chapter. “I am amazed each time I teach this class at the incredible individuals who choose to participate. They show up with their own life experiences, wisdom and passion for this work.” Cindy Spence, MPH, LMT, said. “It’s an honor to be with them for three days of learning, and I am always proud to share my beautiful Faith home and family with them!” The course was coordinated by Spence, a dedicated massage therapist passionate about advancing palliative care. During their visit, the therapists were also treated to a guided tour of the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center’s beautiful campus, led by Rita West, which left many impressed and inspired. Offered two to three times each year, this course continues to attract professionals eager to expand their knowledge and make a meaningful difference in end-of-life care. by Wendy Van Bemmel ← Older Posts
