Faith Presbyterian Hospice Achieves Level One Partnership with We Honor Veterans Post date May 16, 2025 Faith Presbyterian Hospice (FPH) is proud to announce that it has officially advanced to a Level One Partner with We Honor Veterans, a program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This milestone marks a renewed and strengthened commitment to recognizing and supporting the unique needs of the Veterans served by FPH at the end of life. Initially, FPH spent time at the We Honor Veterans Recruit level, during which they focused on completing important staff education and training requirements. These efforts were designed to deepen the team’s understanding of the challenges Veterans may face in hospice care, including physical, emotional and spiritual aspects that can be influenced by their service experience. Now, as a Level One Partner, FPH is taking active steps to honor our Veterans through specialized care planning, community partnerships and increased awareness among its teammates. This includes recognizing Veterans’ military service through ceremonies, developing individualized care approaches and identifying resources that address Veteran-specific needs. The journey doesn’t stop here. Advancing through the We Honor Veterans partner levels reflects an ongoing commitment to improving the quality of care for Veterans and their families. FPH looks forward to continued growth in this program and to deepening its impact for those who have served our country. The logo is proudly displayed on the FPH website.
