Celebrating the Heart of Hospice: Our Volunteers

At Faith Presbyterian Hospice (FPH), we believe compassion is the foundation of care. During National Volunteer Appreciation Week (April 20–26), we pause to celebrate and thank the 40 incredible individuals—and 5 furry therapy friends—who bring that compassion to life every day.

Whether they’re sitting bedside in our inpatient unit, offering comfort to grieving families, spending time with children in the Faith Kids program or making home visits, our volunteers serve with open hearts and quiet strength. They don’t do it for recognition or reward—they do it because they care.

Their presence is a gift. Their time, a blessing. Their impact, immeasurable.

To our volunteers: thank you for walking alongside our patients and families. Your kindness is woven into the fabric of this community and we are endlessly grateful. Click here to learn more about volunteering at FPH.
