Introducing Lana Bearup, Director of QAPI at Faith Presbyterian Hospice

Please join us in welcoming Lana Bearup as the new Director of Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) at Faith Presbyterian Hospice (FPH).

Lana brings more than 15 years of hospice leadership experience, with a strong focus on clinical quality, program development and end-of-life care. Her career spans the development and management of high-impact clinical programs across multiple states, including overseeing full-scope clinical operations, improving care quality and leading organizational growth. From building a hospice program within the Michigan Department of Corrections to launching multiple new hospice branches nationwide, Lana has demonstrated a deep commitment to compassionate, innovative end-of-life care.

She was drawn to FPH by the comprehensive nature of services – including the Inpatient Unit (IPU) and extensive bereavement support. She said she is most excited about working with such a passionate and skilled team. Lana is especially excited about the chance to work within a collaborative team that includes the IPU and extensive bereavement support. “The level of care and compassion here is truly unique,” she says.

A Michigan native who recently relocated to Texas, Lana and her husband love exploring new places and sharing their interest in history. She’s a proud mom, grandmother and pet parent to two fur babies.

Welcome to the team, Lana!
