Teammate Spotlight on Curley Kelly Post date October 27, 2025 Curley Kelly serves as a Community Liaison at Faith Presbyterian Hospice (FPH). He joined the team in July of 2024 and is responsible for promoting FPH’s services and facilities to long-term care and assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, physicians and hospitals. He also provides education and support to patients and families about hospice care. We caught up with Curley for a Q and A to learn more about him. Read about this dedicated teammate below. What are you passionate about regarding your professional role?I am passionate about helping people and advocating for their needs during some of the most challenging times in their lives. Favorite memory/moment to date during your time at FPH:My favorite moments are when our entire team comes together to celebrate our wins and recognize each other’s contributions. Those times remind me how wonderful it is to be part of such a supportive group. What do you think sets FPH apart from other hospice services?What truly sets FPH apart are our people. Also, the Inpatient Unit is a major difference-maker, providing an exceptional level of care that distinguishes us from other hospices. On the weekend, you can find me:On the weekend, you can usually find me watching or attending a football game. I enjoy attending all kinds of sporting events from boxing, basketball, softball, baseball and track and field. What are some of your favorite foods and restaurants?My favorite foods are Thai and Caribbean cuisine. My favorite dish is Gumbo from my hometown in Southern Louisiana. Share about your family:I am married to my beautiful wife, Courtney, and we are a blended family with six lovely kids: Kameron (professional athlete), Taylor (marketing manager), Nia (student at Midwestern State University), Kyndal (student at Tennessee State University), Sydney (student at Prairie View A&M University) and Kyler (student at University of Houston). I also have two grandbabies, Kinslee (three years old) and Ocean (1 year old). How would your friends describe you in three words?My friends would describe me as: loyal, supportive and reliable. What’s something that people might be surprised to learn about you?People would be surprised to learn that I am a former high school head softball coach and was voted District Coach of the Year three out of the five years I spent coaching the sport.
