Sweet Success

The recent sale of chocolate covered strawberries by the Mabee Café to share love with friends and family for Valentine’s Day proved to be a sweet  success and a meaningful community event. The most popular strawberry order option was the full dozen assortment with twenty-eight dozen sold!

“Events like this serve as the heart of the promotion for the Café. These seasonal sales help bring the community and the culinary team together in a shared celebration of giving and love,” said Chef Raul Solano, Executive Chef for the Mabee Café located inside the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center.

To make Valentine’s Day special, extra strawberries were prepared so that each patient and their loved ones could enjoy a sweet treat for dessert that evening.

The Forefront Living Foundation team also supported the effort by purchasing three dozen strawberries for residents at St. Joseph Village at their Valentine’s Meet and Greet.

The Mabee Café culinary team helped turn Valentine’s Day into a celebration of generosity, warmth and community.
