Your Gift Makes a Difference
At Faith Presbyterian Hospice we know that moments matter for patients and their families. Your gift, of any amount, makes a difference. From specialized services that we call the faith difference, to caring for those who do not have the means or insurance coverage to receive the needed care, helps individuals and families at a very vulnerable time in life. Whether in their homes or at the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center, the individuals and family members feel the extra care and attention that your gifts make possible.
T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center Endowment Campaign
Opening in 2017, this 9.3 acre campus was made possible entirely through the generosity of those in our community who understand the need for a stand-alone inpatient care center. Since that time we have provided a true service to the Dallas community by having the ability to provide specialized care for some of the most medically complex patients at the very end of life. To ensure that this high quality care and pristine environment remain in perpetuity we have launched a $10 million endowment campaign. Your gift to the T. Boone Pickens Center endowment will make certain that families for years to come with benefit from the “above and beyond” care and peaceful environment that our community has come to count on. A generous donor has provided a $5 million dollar match, meaning that every dollar given or pledged by February of 2021 will be matched and we can meet that goal even sooner. Your gift can help make that possible.
Create a Lasting Legacy Through Naming Opportunities. By adding your name or honoring a loved one to one of the many rooms at the T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center or to one of Faith’s endowed funds. You can leave a special legacy while bringing added comfort to families who see familiar names of those who care. To learn more, contact the Presbyterian Communities and Services Foundation office at 214-413-1577 or contact a member of our foundation team.
Faith Presbyterian Hospice Caring Fund
The Faith Caring Fund provides for all of the special services that we call the “faith difference.” These include our special therapies such as music, massage and pet therapy as well as our children’s bereavement program. In addition, the fund provides benevolent care for those who cannot afford Faith’s services and so much more. You can learn more about these programs here.
There are many more ways to help hospice patients and their loved ones, and many ways to give. In addition to generous giving of monetary resources, Faith Presbyterian Hospice relies heavily on the time and talents of dedicated volunteers. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization and many opportunities are available at the T. Boone Pickens Hospice and Palliative Care Center, in homes or in our long-term care communities across the DFW metroplex. Whether you are looking for ongoing opportunities, more episodic or event-related volunteering, we welcome your participation. You can learn more about volunteering here.
If your donation is to honor the memory of a particular individual, please complete the gift tribute portion of the form.
